SRSLY is Alexandra Fiber and Danielle Gibson: two actors, writers, producers, and full-time BFFs who met during their senior year at NYU Drama. They created SRSLY in 2011 as a means to showcase their own acting and writing skills, as well as support fellow talents in the NYC comedy and filmmaking communities. SRSLY’s goal was to create videos that were fresh, female-focused, and above all: funny.
Since their initial launch, SRSLY has been profiled by the New York Times, as well as featured online by New York Magazine, Glamour, Lucky, Jezebel, Splitsider, and many more.
Recently SRSLY has collaborated with several high-profile brands; They created two seasonally-themed 3-part video series for Glamour.com — “SRSLY, It’s Fashion Week,” and “SRSLY, It’s the Holidays.” They created exclusive SRSLY Facebook content for personal style behemoth Refinery29, as well as viral SRSLY videos for Birchbox, the makeup subscription service and online beauty hub. To date, SRSLY has written, produced, and starred in over 30 digital shorts.
SRSLY lives and works in New York City. Both Alexandra and Danielle are UCB-trained improvisers, and perform regularly. They share a mutual love of stripes, Diet Coke, and boys who wear glasses.
